Petrophysical Analysis

Hotwell US is supported by the renowned Hotwell Petrophysical Staff.

The Hotwell Log Analysis Center (LAC) has been operating since 1997 as support for the Hotwell Pulsed Neutron Neutron (PNN) tool. Initially it was primarily focused on the PNN and its closely connected petrophysical interpretation. It has since grown into a full service log interpretation center for both open and cased hole log analysis.

The Log Analysis Center is based in Houston, Texas and is comprised of degreed Geologists and Petrophysicists with extensive experience in the industry. The LAC is capable of performing single or multi-well interpretations, projects and studies in domain of all kinds of log interpretations in cased and open-holes.

Petrophysical Interpretation

APPLICATION

Main purpose of the petrophysical interpretation is to evaluate formation petrophysical parameters: volume of shale, lithology, porosity, water saturation, using different models for calculation. Final target is to define NET-PAY zone, cost- effective for hydrocarbon production.
