DETAILS

ACE-1000 platform is Hotwell’s slim open hole logging suite. The primary logging tools included in the platform are the Electrical Survey, Dual Laterolog, Dual Induction Focused Log, Compensated Acoustic Log, High Resolution Acoustic Log, Cement Bond Log, Micro-spherical Focused Log, 4-Arm Caliper Log, Gamma Ray Log, Compensated Neutron Log, Compensated Density or/and Spectral-Density Log, Continuous Deviation and Orientation Log.

Auxiliary measurements include Head-Tension/Compression, Mud Resistivity and Borehole Temperature. Also available are Rotary Subs, Centralizers and Flexible Coupling Subs which are offered to help improve the reliability of the readings and increase the flexibility of the logging. The tools can be conveyed on Pipe or Coil Tubing into highly deviated or extended reach wells where conventional wireline conveyance methods do not work

Real time data acquisition is done with the Hotwell Open Hole Panel and the SDS Warrior Acquisition System. The raw and calibrated data acquired by the tools can be further processed by the Hotwell Log Analysis Center located in Austria and is available 24/7 worldwide.

System Characteristics
Downhole tools and sub functions are highly integrated. The conventional logging string including resistivity, acoustic, density, neutron, and gamma ray measurements results in a tool string length of just 65 feet. Each instrument’s digital interface incorporates a software based intelligent processing mode, greatly improving the tools accuracy and reliability. The  tools use a standard CAN bus that provides a highly expandable platform for future tool expandability and interchangeability. The tool designs are structurally optimized and are built with field operations in mind
